About Jess

I became a hairstylist later in life, but in all honesty, it was destiny.

​

After growing up in the ICT area, and obtaining a BA in Literature and Paralegal Studies, I moved to Southern California a to be with my husband and became a model for a fashion brand. My obsession for the beauty industry blossomed.

​

I dreamt of a career full of love, wealth, creativity, and a flexible schedule for a family. I welcomed my daughter, Lumiya, into the world at 27 in 2015.

​

I dove in, head first, into my clientele in 2018. My secret to success? No fear of being my "weird" self. I believe in helping and encouraging others to break the mold and forge their own path.

​

If you hang with me for too long, I'll brainwash you into believing in yourself and knowing you can achieve anything.

​

In 2019 I won the "New Comer of the Year Award" from the Mid West Hair Awards Show, and have been nominated for two other national awards. I am addicted to seeing my guests faces light up when I turn the chair around and watching their confidence grow because they love how they look. 

​

 I am honest to a fault, love to connect with others, traveling, books, and dogs. I am obsessed with Lana Del Rey and true crime.
